On the third day of the historic series’ third and decisive Test at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Pakistan resumed their first innings on 90-1, behind Australia by 301 runs.
At the start of the game, Abdullah Shafique and Azhar Ali were leading the home side’s batting.
After the departure of Iman-ul-Haq, who was sent back to the pavilion by Australian skipper Pat Cummins, the duo put up an unbroken 70-run stand to launch Pakistan’s robust response to Australia’s first innings total of 391 on the second day on Tuesday.
