Fiza Ali denounces ‘so-called’ champions of women’s rights.

The renowned host and actress Fiza recently highlighted the exploitation of working women in society, emphasizing the need for true empowerment rather than selective advocacy.

They came down hard on the abusers of women’s rights in the name of Islam, particularly the provision of more than one marriage.

Fiza flayed the obscenity and vulgarity in the name of modernism and liberalism.

She highlighted the softer, nurturing side of women, emphasizing that throughout history, women have been humble, polite, and self-sacrificing.

She took a direct hit at the ‘Mera Jism, Meri Marzi’ campaign, arguing that such moves often fail to acknowledge the struggles of hijabi and practicing Muslim women.

She said that while influential women receive vocal support, ordinary working women who adhere to Islamic values are often ignored.

She stressed that Islam does not mandate multiple marriages but permits them under specific ethical and justifiable conditions.

She presented the difference between the provision of four marriages in Islam and polygamy, saying that Islam does not make multiple marriages obligatory for men but only allows them in exceptional circumstances, such as protecting widows or divorced women in need.

“Men here usually marry for lust,” she stressed.

While voice against violation of women’s rights was raised, working women’s exploitation at the hands of men in society was highlighted.

The participants criticized those who exploit Islamic provisions to crush women’s rights. They heaped praise on men supporting their counterparts.
