Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Saif has strongly denounced the ‘ban’ in meetings with the PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi, calling it an act of deliberate hardship during Ramadan.
He alleged that both are not being provided proper food for Sehri and Iftar, adding that the government’s oppressive tactics have sparked public outrage.
“The ban on meetings is a blatant violation of court orders,” Barrister Saif stated, urging the judiciary to take action under contempt of court laws by breaking the shackles of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
He further alleged that the couple is being forced to fast on an empty stomach and is even being restricted from performing religious duties.
