Six people died, many injured in traffic accident

Six people were killed, including a female child, and many more were injured in traffic accidents across Pakistan on Friday.

Three persons were killed in a collision between a tractor-trolley and a trailer in Daska, Sialkot, according to authorities. The accident happened in Bambawala police station’s jurisdiction.

A fast trailer collided with a brick-laden trolley. As a result, a man seated on the trolley’s top plummeted to his death on the ground.

Two bystanders on a motorcycle were also killed when the trolley’s cargo of bricks fell on them.

The dead bodies were transported to Civil Hospital by Rescue 1122 employees and patrolling police officers.

Two people perished and several more were injured in a three-vehicle pile-up in Jamshoro, Sindh. A Vigo van, a passenger bus, and a truck were involved in an accident on the Indus Highway near Khankot.

“Dead bodies and injured people were sent to the hospital,” police stated.

“Khurram and Aftab have been identified as the deceased,” they added.

“Overtaking caused the accident,” they explained.

A young kid died and more than 30 people were injured when a bus transporting wedding guests collapsed near Kot Lalu in Khairpur, Sindh.

The bus was traveling from Thul to Karachi when it got involved in an accident at Khairpur. The bride and groom were among those who were hurt.
