Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Multan president has alleged that estranged PTI leader Jehangir Khan Tareen wants to run for election on the PML-N ticket.
On Wednesday, President of the PML-N (Multan Chapter) Bilal Butt revealed that disgruntled PTI leader Jehangir Tareen intended to run for the PML-N in the upcoming general election. He stated that JKT had conveyed this intention and that the party leadership will make a decision.
Mr. Butt further stated that if Jehangir Tareen’s disqualification was upheld, he would allow his son Ali Tareen to run in the election.
Two PTI MNAs and four PTI MPAs, he alleged, had joined the PML-N.
Javed Hashmi, he claimed, also intended to run for office in an urban district.
