Renowned Bollywood heartthrob Shilpa Shetty is facing legal trouble after a lavish BMW Z4 convertible worth Rs80 lakh was stolen from the parking fine-dining restaurant Bastian in Mumbai’s Dadar.
For the uninitiated, one of Mumbai’s businessmen, Ruhan Khan, had his BMW stolen from the parking lot of Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant.
The theft was reported to the Shivaji Park Police Station.
The vehicle was missing after he came to valet parking after a night out with friends.
Later, in a CCTV footage, two unidentified individuals were spotted entering the basement for the parking.
They used advanced hacking techniques and quickly unlocked the BMW, and one suspect drove the luxury car. This new method has raised concerns among the authorities.
Fans were left shocked after the news went viral on social media.
However, Shilpa Shetty, the owner of the luxurious fine-dining restaurant, has not yet addressed the matter.
However, she and her restaurant is definitely under the radar for the security lapses that led to such a theft.
Meanwhile, Police is probing the matter.
