The US dollar gained 60 paisas versus the Pakistani rupee and hit Rs178.10 at the opening of interbank trading on the first day of the workweek.
The US dollar had previously closed at Rs177.83.
On Monday, the Pakistani rupee lost 60 paisas versus the US dollar, crossing the critical level of Rs178.
