ISLAMABAD: According to data released by Pakistan’s National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning, the COVID-19 positivity ratio has plummeted even more as the country’s daily coronavirus case count continues to decline.
According to the most recent NCOC statistics, just 765 new illnesses were found overnight after the national COVID-19 body conducted 34,296 diagnostic tests across the country.
Pakistan’s coronavirus positive rate fell to 2.23 percent as a result of the new cases, while the overall case count increased to 1,510,986.
However, the country’s daily COVID-19 death toll increased somewhat in the last 24 hours, with 22 additional people succumbing to the illness.
With the fresh deaths, Pakistan’s COVID-19 death toll now stands at 30,218.
Meanwhile, 2,307 people who had been infected with the virus have recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 35,523. 981 individuals, however, remain in critical care units.
