Starmer, a potential candidate for the next British prime minister, lauded Swift’s performance as “fantastic” and acknowledged her wide appeal.
Though he admitted to not knowing all of her songs, he singled out “Change” as his favorite, aligning it with his campaign’s theme.
A widely shared video on social media captured a joyful moment of Prince William dancing enthusiastically to Swift’s hit single “Shake It Off,” further endearing him to concertgoers.
Swift’s UK tour, part of the European leg of her Eras tour, has already seen successful shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Cardiff.
Following her London performances, she is set to head to Dublin.
The London Mayor’s office has projected that her eight shows in the capital will inject £300 million ($380 million) into the city’s economy.
In honor of her tour, several murals dedicated to Swift were unveiled across London, along with a special Tube map featuring station names inspired by her songs.
