In the midst of the T20 World Cup fever, renowned film and television star Kubra Khan has disclosed her favorite Pakistani cricketer.
During a recent appearance on a private TV channel’s World Cup transmission, Khan discussed her interest in cricket and addressed a common misconception about her.
Despite her English roots, where cricket has a storied history, Khan clarified her stance, stating, “It’s not like that. I do enjoy cricket when Pakistan is playing, but I have not followed the ongoing T20 World Cup.”
Her remarks highlighted her selective yet passionate support for the sport.
When prompted to name her favorite cricketer, Khan was quick to praise young sensation Naseem Shah.
“I’m loving Naseem Shah recently, I think he is a great addition to the team,” she said. She further expressed her admiration for Shah beyond his athletic prowess, adding, “Also, not just with cricket, I like him overall as a person as well.”
