Ed Sheeran never wanted to become singer.
Grammy-winning pop sensation Ed Sheeran recently shared a surprising revelation about his early career aspirations on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ (TGIKS).
In a candid interview, Ed Sheeran disclosed that he never wanted to become singer and initially harbored dreams of becoming an actor.
“I originally wanted to be an actor,” Sheeran recounted. He reminisced about auditioning for a TV show that combined acting and music when he was sixteen. Making it to the final ten contestants was a pivotal moment for him. “In my head, I thought if I got this, I would pursue acting and wouldn’t do music. If I don’t get this, I’ll focus solely on music. And I didn’t get it,” he revealed, reflecting on the turning point that led him to focus entirely on his music career.
During his visit to India, Sheeran experienced the warm hospitality of Bollywood royalty.
He spent time at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, where he not only learned some of the actor’s iconic dance moves but also enjoyed a musical jam session with Khan’s family.
Sheeran’s visit was further highlighted by parties hosted by film director Farah Khan and comedian Kapil Sharma.
