Pakistani actor Nabeel Zafar recently shared his perspective on Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s decision to embrace singlehood following her divorce from former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik.
In a response to Mirza’s statement on a YouTube show about finding completeness in herself, Zafar suggested that while self-sufficiency is admirable, there is also value in remarrying to build a circle of love and support.
Mirza’s remarks came in an Instagram video where she announced her upcoming show, ‘Akeeli.’
The show aims to spotlight the achievements of women across India who have made significant strides in their respective fields.

Mirza and Malik were married in 2010, and their separation was confirmed by Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, in January of this year.

This confirmation came after Malik’s third marriage to actress Sana Javed was made public.
Despite the end of their marriage, Mirza and Malik maintain a connection through their five-year-old son, Izhaan.
Anum Mirza, Sania’s sister, revealed that Sania congratulated Malik on his new marriage, emphasizing that the couple had been living apart for several months before their official divorce.
