General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), met with Aybek Arif Usmanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, at GHQ on Thursday.
The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest, the regional security situation, and bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
Pakistan appreciates its connections with Uzbekistan, particularly in terms of defense cooperation, according to the COAS. Both expressed a willingness to strengthen bilateral ties, including regional efforts for peace and security.
The visiting dignitary praised Pakistan’s contribution to regional stability and promised to continue working to improve relations between the two brotherly nations.
