Prince William is stopping Harry to meet Kate Middleton.
In the midst of ongoing familial tensions within the British royal family, Prince Harry has reportedly been deeply affected by the recent cancer diagnosis of Catherine, the Princess of Wales, according to insights shared by royal author Christopher Andersen.
Andersen, renowned for his work including “The King,” revealed to Fox News the profound impact of Catherine’s health news on Harry, noting their once-close relationship.
The revelation of her illness, disclosed through a video message in March, came as a shock to Harry.
“They (Harry and Kate) were once extremely close, and Harry was hit hard by the news of her cancer diagnosis, which he learned about just the way the rest of us did, via Kate’s shocking video,” Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told Fox News on Wednesday.

He also claimed that the 39-year-old prince would love to “reconnect” with Kate but “unfortunately, it doesn’t appear [Prince] William is willing to let his brother anywhere near his ailing wife.”
Lingering bitterness, Andersen claimed, complicates any prospects of reconciliation, painting a grim picture for potential family gatherings amidst the backdrop of personal health crises.
Catherine’s announcement in March detailed her ongoing battle with an undisclosed form of cancer, following successful abdominal surgery earlier in the year.

The 39-year-old princess emphasized the difficult journey she, Prince William, and their three children have faced since her hospitalization, revealing the unexpected discovery of cancer post-surgery.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,” she said in the video statement.
“The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.
“My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” she added.
The royal family finds itself grappling with health challenges on multiple fronts, as Catherine’s illness coincides with Prince Charles’s own undisclosed cancer treatment.
The intricacies of navigating personal health struggles within the public eye highlight the delicate balance between maintaining privacy and fulfilling royal duties.
Prince Harry’s own relationship with the royal family has undergone significant strain in recent years, exacerbated by his relocation to the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle.
Despite physical distance, Harry’s current visit to the UK for events commemorating the Invictus Games anniversary underscores his ongoing ties and concerns for his family, including a hoped-for meeting with his father, King Charles III.
However, logistical constraints have reportedly hindered such a meeting, with a spokesperson citing the king’s busy schedule as the reason for its impossibility.
