The highly anticipated Met Gala, an annual charity event and fundraiser for The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, has revealed its theme for 2024: “The Garden of Time.”
This year’s gala will commemorate the institute’s upcoming exhibition, titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” featuring approximately 250 rare items from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection.

Leading the festivities as hosts for the 2024 Met Gala are Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.

With the theme “The Garden of Time” inspired by JG Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same title, attendees are expected to interpret the dress code in a myriad of creative ways.
