Babar Azam gets MG as a gift from Javed Afridi.
In recognition of Babar Azam’s exceptional performance during the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Javed Afridi, the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, bestowed upon him a luxury car MG on Monday.
Afridi took to social media to share a post featuring Babar seated alongside him in his new vehicle.

Babar emerged as the top scorer of the tournament, amassing 569 runs in 11 innings with an impressive average of 56.90, which included five half-centuries and a century.
Despite being favored to win, Zalmi faced defeats in both knockout matches against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.

Currently leading Pakistan in the ongoing five-match T20I series against New Zealand, Babar has played a pivotal role in guiding the team through tightly contested matches.
With the series tied at 1-1, the last two matches will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
During the third T20I, where Pakistan suffered a seven-wicket loss, Babar surpassed Aaron Finch to become the highest run-scorer as a T20I captain, accumulating 2246* runs in 67 innings.
Notably, he holds the record as Pakistan’s leading run-getter in this format, amassing 3749 runs in 105 innings, including 33 half-centuries and three centuries.
As Babar Azam gets MG as a gift from Javed Afridi, his leadership credentials were reaffirmed in white-ball formats ahead of the New Zealand series, with Shaheen Afridi being relieved of the captaincy after just one series.
