Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, a prominent figure accused in the murder of Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh in Pakistan, was fatally shot by unidentified gunmen in Lahore.
Tamba, known to be associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit founded by Hafiz Saeed, was attacked in Lahore’s Islampura area by assailants riding motorcycles.
Despite efforts to save him, Tamba succumbed to his injuries shortly after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
