In a recent interview, veteran actress Saba Faisal stunned audiences by disclosing her little-known past as a fashion entrepreneur, shedding light on her early career before entering the showbiz industry.
Former First Lady’s Personal Tailor
During the interview, conducted by renowned host Nadia Khan, Saba Faisal revealed that before her acting career, she owned a clothing factory.
Saba Faisal revealed that she personally stitched clothes for none other than Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the former First Lady of Pakistan, and her daughter, Maryam Nawaz, who has since risen to prominence as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Closure of Business and Relocation
Delving deeper into her transition from fashion to acting, Saba Faisal disclosed the process of closing her business upon relocating to Karachi.
She shared the contemplation and prayer that preceded her decision, expressing satisfaction with her eventual choice to leave the fashion industry behind and pursue her acting career in Karachi.

“Yes, when I shifted to Karachi, I had to close my business, and I took six months just to think about closing the business, I did Istikhara.”
She further added, “I thought a lot whether I am not doing wrong and I do not have to regret my decision, but in the end, I understood that it should be closed, and I left everything and came to Karachi. Now there is no regret.”
