Violent clash at Punjab University leaves nine students injured. Punjab University‘s new campus became the scene of a tumultuous confrontation on Wednesday as at least nine students suffered injuries amidst clashes between two rival factions.

What commenced as a verbal altercation among university students quickly spiraled into physical violence when a group affiliated with the student union reportedly launched an assault, wielding sticks and hurling stones at their adversaries.

The injured were swiftly transported to Jinnah Hospital for urgent medical attention, highlighting the severity of the altercation.

Law enforcement swiftly intervened, confirming the initiation of legal proceedings against the instigators of the violence, as indicated by police authorities.
