Rilee Rossouw to lead Quetta Gladiators in PSL 9. Quetta Gladiators’ long-standing captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, has decided to relinquish his leadership role ahead of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

This significant move comes at the behest of the team’s newly appointed head coach, Shane Watson, who recently joined the franchise.

In Sarfaraz’s stead, South African batsman Rilee Rossouw has been entrusted with leading the Gladiators onto the field for the upcoming season.

Additionally, Saud Shakeel has been named as the vice-captain, further solidifying the team’s leadership structure.

Sarfaraz Ahmed has been at the helm of the Gladiators since the inception of the PSL, guiding them through eight seasons of intense competition.

As Rilee Rossouw to lead Quetta Gladiators in PSL 9, the Quetta Gladiators are gearing up for their season opener against Peshawar Zalmi on February 18 at the historic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

With the commencement of the tournament drawing near, finalized security arrangements underscore the commitment to ensuring a safe and thrilling cricketing spectacle for fans nationwide.
