Renowned Bollywood comedian Kapil Sharma took to social media on Wednesday evening to express his dissatisfaction with India’s largest commercial airline, IndiGo, citing alleged flight delays and inadequate handling of passengers, including those requiring wheelchairs.

Sharma claimed that passengers were subjected to a nearly one-hour wait on a shuttle bus, with the airline attributing the delay to the pilot being stuck in traffic.

Accusing IndiGo of persistent deception, Sharma shared visuals of disgruntled passengers engaged in disputes with the airline’s ground staff, attempting to communicate their concerns to a senior official.

In a direct message to IndiGo, Sharma voiced his frustration, stating, “Dear IndiGo, first, you made us wait on the bus for 50 minutes, and now your team is saying the pilot is stuck in traffic, really?”

He highlighted that the scheduled 8 pm takeoff had been significantly delayed, with no pilot in the cockpit by 9:20 pm. Concluding his message, Sharma asserted that the 180 passengers affected by the situation would not choose to fly with IndiGo again.

Sharma provided an update with visuals of passengers deplaning. According to him, the airline planned to transfer passengers to another aircraft but required them to return to the terminal for a security check.

He emphasized the inconvenience faced by passengers and accused IndiGo of dishonesty, particularly highlighting the plight of elderly passengers in wheelchairs with compromised health conditions.
