American hostages set free by Hamas amid efforts to normal tensions

Israeli death toll rises to 40: What is Hamas?

American hostages set free by Hamas amid efforts to normal tensions. In an effort to defuse tensions, Hamas released American hostages.

Two weeks after the conflict began, a mother and her daughter who had been held captive by the Palestinian organization Hamas were released.

Two weeks ago, US citizens Judith Tai Raanan and Natalie Shoshana Raanan were taken hostage by Hamas militants from the Nahal Oz kibbutz in southern Israel.

The news was confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also expressed optimism for the safe return of all missing and abducted people.

The hostage’s father informed the world’s media that his daughter was doing well.

The father remarked that her daughter sounds wonderful and is anxious to get home. The mother, the second victim, reportedly suffered a head scrape.

While there hasn’t been a compromise made between the two sides, it was alleged that more than 200 people were taken captive during a Hamas attack.

As American hostages set free by Hamas amid efforts to normal tensions, earlier, a Palestinian organisation urged Tel Aviv to halt its bombardment so that aid could be delivered.

After days of nonstop talks between all parties, Hamas released two hostages to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip, with Qatar apparently playing a crucial role in the negotiations.

On the other hand, as occupation forces retook control of the attacked region on October 7, Israel continued to obliterate Palestinian civilian neighborhoods and asserted to have killed 1,500 of the Hamas fighters in confrontations.

Earlier, Hamas has released a video of an Israeli woman who was kidnapped during the October 7 attacks, which killed over 1,300 people and sparked a war in Gaza.

Approximately 200 people were reportedly kidnapped during the attacks.
