PCB clears the air about players support for Palestinians. The Pakistani cricket team, which is presently occupied with competition in the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup, has expressed its unwavering support and shared its prayers for all Palestinians who are suffering at the hands of Israel.

However, there have been numerous concerns voiced by Indian cricket fans and experts regarding the players’ unwavering support for Palestine, asking the ICC, the sport’s governing body, whether such actions were permitted in the tournament.

Sources claim that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) rejected criticism of the players’ actions by stating that “the team’s expression of solidarity was a personal decision.”

Prior to this Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, dedicated the team’s victory over Sri Lanka to his “brothers and sisters in Gaza”.

In the meantime, Indian cricket fans and experts stirred up controversy by alleging that the national team had broken ICC rules because of their support for Palestine.

The team is “allowed to express whatever they wanted to,” according to sources with the PCB, and the players “did not violate any code of conduct by the ICC or PCB.”

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israel’s shelling has caused at least 3,061 Palestinian deaths and over 13,750 additional injuries.

In solidarity with its Palestinian brothers and sisters, Pakistan has vehemently denounced the Israeli atrocities and demanded an immediate end to the bombardment, which has not even spared hospitals or schools.

Even legendary Pakistani cricketers who are no longer on the team expressed their support for Palestine.

In addition, after a few days of rest, Pakistan will play Australia tomorrow (Friday) at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
