Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi’s sister passed away.
The former cricketer broke some heartbreaking news to his fans on Monday. He asked for their prayers because his sister’s health had deteriorated to the point of hospitalization.
The deceased had been ill for some time before passing away on Tuesday morning.
The funeral prayer of Shahid Khan Afridi’s sister will be held at Zikriya Mosque in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi Phase-8.
Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani cricketer from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rose to prominence for his aggressive batting style.
Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a former Pakistani cricketer who served as captain of the Pakistan national team. Afridi, an all-rounder, was a right-handed leg spinner as well as a right-handed batsman. Afridi made his One-Day International debut against Kenya in 1996.

Afridi made his One-Day International debut against Kenya in 1996. In his second ODI against Sri Lanka, he batted for the first time and broke the record for the fastest century in ODI cricket (in 37 deliveries). In 1998, he made his Test debut against Australia. In 2006, Afridi made his T20I debut against England. Afridi was named tournament player of the 2007 T20 World Cup.
