CNG stations likely to reopen on February 14

KARACHI: After a nearly three-month hiatus, compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Sindh and Balochistan will reopen on February 14 (Monday).

The management of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has decided to resume gas supplies to all CNG stations that are using Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas, according to a statement released on Friday (RLNG). On Monday at 8 a.m., supply will resume.

According to the statement, “Gas supply to the CNG sector was suspended from December 1, 2021, until February 15, 2022, in compliance with the Gas Load Management Plan.”

Only those CNG stations that use RLNG are getting gas supply restored, according to the statement.
