Yash Raj Films, India’s cinematic superpower, has released an enthralling first look at ‘Tiger 3,’ starring the renowned duo Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
This film, directed by Maneesh Sharma (‘Band Baaja Baaraat,’ is the next installment in producer Aditya Chopra’s riveting spy world.
The espionage tale began with the adrenaline-pumping Tiger series, which starred the explosive duo of Khan and Katrina Kaif.
It began its thrilling journey with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in 2012, followed by ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017.

This enthralling universe was further expanded in 2019 with the movie ‘War,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
‘Pathaan,’ featuring the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan and the gifted Deepika Padukone, broke records earlier this year as the biggest Indian hit of 2023, generating a remarkable $130 million. These four cinematic masterpieces have grossed a whopping $300 million globally.
Salman Khan plays Avinash Singh Rathore, alias Tiger, a daring operative of India’s intelligence organisation, RAW, in the Tiger franchise. His co-star, Katrina Kaif, plays Zoya Humaini, a Pakistani ISI spy.
In ‘War,’ Hrithik Roshan played renegade RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, and Tiger Shroff played his apprentice, Khalid Rahmani.
Shah Rukh Khan plays exiled RAW agent Pathaan in ‘Pathaan,’ while Deepika Padukone excels as ISI spy Rubina Mohsin.
Notably, ‘Pathaan’ provided an exciting crossover with Tiger making an important cameo, and the film also reintroduced Colonel Sunil Luthra (played by Ashutosh Rana), a character initially seen in ‘War’ and expected to return in ‘Tiger 3.’
In a pivotal sequence near the end of ‘Pathaan,’ Tiger and Pathaan consider the future of their mission, realising that the responsibility of protecting the nation cannot be passed down to the next generation.
The thrills don’t stop there. ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, is planned to begin main photography in January 2024. Meanwhile, NTR Jr., the acclaimed hero of ‘RRR,’ will team up with Hrithik Roshan in ‘War 2,’ promising even more thrills in the spy universe.
