Haris Rauf ruled out of Asia Cup 2023 contest. Haris Rauf, a Pakistani pacer, will not play against India in the Super 4 of the Asia Cup 2023, which will be held in Colombo.

“He felt a little discomfort in his right flank during the match yesterday and was subsequently taken for a precautionary MRI, which revealed no tear,” the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.

“He remains under the observation of the team’s medical panel,” it added.

The change occurs before the crucial game against India in Colombo resumes. On reserve day, the match between the archrivals was resumed after a more than hour-delay.

India’s score after 32 overs is 193-2.

As Haris Rauf ruled out of Asia Cup 2023 contest, Haris Rauf is a cricketer from Pakistan. In January 2020, he made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team. On October 5, 2018, he made his Twenty20 debut for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy.

In November 2018, he was selected in the players’ draught for the 2019 Pakistan Super League tournament by the Lahore Qalandars. In December 2022, he made his Test debut against England.

Rauf was born in Rawalpindi, Punjab, but his family is originally from Mansehra in Pakistan’s Hazara region.

Rauf married his classmate Muzna Masood Malik in a traditional nikkah ceremony in Islamabad on December 23, 2022.
