Yumna Zaidi talks about her spiritual journey to Najaf and Iraq. Yumna, the reigning queen of Pakistani drama, has had a string of hit dramas, and she is now preparing to make her feature debut in “Nayab,” in which she plays a cricketer.
In addition, she has been cast as the lead in the upcoming drama “Gentleman,” starring Humayun Saeed.
Her work is thriving, but she took a much-needed break to accompany her mother on a spiritual journey to Najaf, Iraq, for Ziarat (pilgrimage).

She recently revealed beautiful memories from her sacred tour, where she wore a traditional chaddar and headscarf and visited the Holy sites, referring to this journey as “Safar e Ishq.”

Yumna Zaidi is a Pakistani model and actress. She has established herself as one of the major television actresses in the Urdu television business, and she is known for playing a variety of characters in social and romantic dramas. Zaidi has received three Lux Style Awards.
Zaidi first appeared as a supporting character in ARY Digital domestic-drama Thakan (2012) and then played lead roles in several television series, including the melodrama Khushi Ek Roag, the romantic drama Teri Raah Main Rul Gai, (both 2012) the family drama Meri Dulari and the revenge drama Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi (both 2013), the later of which earned her praise and a nomination of Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress.
