Accountability court grants one-day personal appearance exemption to Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Senate Opposition Leader Yousuf Raza Gilani were granted a one-day personal appearance exemption by an accountability court on Thursday.

On Thursday, Judge Asghar Ali of the Accountability Court heard the Toshakhana case in Islamabad.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s assistant counsel, Barrister Shiraz Rajpar, arrived in court. In court, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) also called a witness.

During the hearing, Zardari and former Prime Minister Gilani presented their request for exemption from attendance.
