When a customer purchased a pre-packaged chocolate cake from the bakeshop known for its savory meals, the incident occurred. The buyer was enraged and shocked as he licked the Fudge cake, which contained a lizard.
According to reports, consumers went to Layers Faisalabad to report the terrible occurrence. In the midst of the indignation, recordings taken with a portable device were posted on social media and quickly went viral, generating outrage and a call for an investigation into the famed confectioner’s sanitary practices.

Netizens react as Lizard found in Layers bakeshop cake, meanwhile, Layers quickly shared a response and called it false allegations circulating about the bakery items.
“We find ourselves in an unfortunate situation where our brand, Layers, has been subject to baseless allegations that aim to tarnish our hard-earned reputation…We take immense pride in the quality and hygiene of our products. Our factory adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness. It is technically impossible for foreign objects, such as the alleged lizard, to be found in our baked goods,” it said.
According to Pakistan’s Cybercrime Laws, the corporation also threatened legal action against individuals who defamed its brand.
