Rizwan gifts Holy Quran to Harvard teacher. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are the first cricketers to have participated in Harvard Business School’s executive education programme, which focuses on The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS).

Babar and Rizwan attended seminars on the prestigious Harvard Business School campus in Boston, Massachusetts, from May 31 to June 3.

While both cricketers are well known for their exceptional on-field exploits, they also bring distinct qualities and interests to the programme. Rizwan, in particular, has been recognised for his efforts in promoting the message of Islam through lectures at various mosques throughout his cricket tours around the world.

On the last day of the program, Rizwan gifts Holy Quran to Harvard teacher from the Harvard Business School’s executive education program. This gesture not only showcased Rizwan’s gratitude for the opportunity but also demonstrated his commitment to his faith and its values.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam’s presence at Harvard seems to have had a contagious effect on his classmates. A female classmate of Babar’s shared a picture on social media, captioned with, “Finding my next career as a cricket player.”

This lighthearted remark demonstrates the influence Babar’s cricket enthusiasm and talent have had on everyone around him. Babar has developed a sense of brotherhood among his pupils and possibly sparked a newfound enthusiasm for cricket among them by connecting with them and sparking their interest in the sport.

The two cricketers’ revolutionary idea is likely to encourage a new generation of cricketers to pursue education alongside their playing careers.
