Dear Editor,
I am writing to you to bring to light a concerning issue that has been witnessed in recent times. As you are aware, Imran Khan’s arrest has been a hot topic of discussion across the country. However, what is truly alarming is the reaction of certain individuals who have resorted to acts of violence and vandalism due to their lack of education and understanding.
It is a well-known fact that illiteracy and ignorance can cause more harm than good. After Imran Khan’s arrest, we have seen individuals resorting to violent protests and damaging public and private property showing support for PTI Chief Imran Khan. These actions not only go against our society but also against the basic principles of democracy and nonviolent resistance.
It is important to remember that in a civilized society, every individual has the right to express their opinion and disagreement, but it should be done in a peaceful and lawful manner. The lack of education and understanding of these individuals has led to them resorting to violent actions that have further harmed the country’s freefalling economy.
Therefore, it is essential that the government and relevant authorities take urgent steps to educate the public on the importance of peaceful protests and the need for constructive dialogue. It is only through education that we can build a society that follows the rule of law and democratic principles.
In conclusion, I urge the media and civil society to play a proactive role in raising awareness of this issue and help prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Let us work together to build a society that values education and peaceful coexistence.
Sincerely,
Tayyaba Shahid
Lahore.
