Mumbai: First look of Megastar Rajnikanth from his upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam’ is out.
Superstar Rajnikanth is set to perform cameo in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s forthcoming directorial endeavour’Lal Salaam’. The makers, as previously mentioned, have revealed the star’s first-look poster. Rajinikanth’s first-look poster depicts him in a suave avatar wearing sunglasses. Rajinikanth’s part would be shot entirely in Mumbai.
Lyca Productions shared the poster in English and Tamil and called Rajinikanth ‘everyone’s favorite Bhai is back in Mumbai.’ It went with the caption: “Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai. Make way for #Thalaivar Superstar #Rajinikanth as #MoideenBhai in #LalSalaam (sic).”

Sharing the poster, Aishwarya wrote, “Honoured and blessed appal! the entire team of #LalSalaam always needs yours blessings! (sic)”.
Fans’ reactions to the poster have been divided. Some people commented in the comments area that they were dissatisfied with the poster and that the quality was poor.
‘Lal Salaam’ began filming early this year and the crew has already completed a schedule. AR Rahman composed the soundtrack for the film. Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in prominent roles and is set to be released this year. An official announcement about the film will be made soon. Cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy and editor Pravin Baaskar are part of the technical team.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returns to filmmaking after an eight-year absence. Aishwarya directed the black comedy thriller “Vai Raja Vai” in 2015. The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s action-entertainer directorial venture ‘Jailer,’ which also stars Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff. The film is set to hit theatres on August 10, 2023.
