The Guinness World Records (GWR) has recognized Pearl, a female Chihuahua who is only two years old, as the world’s shortest dog. Pearl is smaller than a dollar bill and shorter than a popsicle stick, measuring only 3.59 inches tall and 5.0 inches long.
Pearl, who currently holds the title, is the progeny of Miracle Milly’s identical twin sister, according to GWR. Milly and Pearl both weighed 28g at birth.

Recent viewers of the television show Lo Show Dei Record enthusiastically applauded Pearl when she appeared on the programme.
She was carried onto the stage by her owner, Vanesa Semler, in a lavish Easter egg-shaped seat.
Semler told the show’s host, Gerry Scotti, that Pearl was a little bit of a diva during her appearance. Semler also revealed some fascinating details about Pearl’s character.
She said Pearl is a calm dog who likes to eat premium food like chicken and salmon.
According to a blog post by Guinness World Records, the dog also enjoys dressing up and even went shopping with Semler in Milan, where Pearl was jokingly described as “small like a ball.”
Pearl’s height was accurately measured three times at the Crystal Creek Animal Hospital in Orlando, Florida, where she was born. Each measurement was carefully taken from the base of her front leg foot up to the top of the withers in a straight vertical line, as described in Guinness World Records’ blog.
