Netflix is facing legal notice after airing lewd conversations about Indian actresses Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai.
According to reports, an indecent conversation between two characters from the popular American sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was shown in the first episode of the second season.
Kunal Nayyar, who played Raj Koothrappali in the show, made disparaging comments about the legendary Indian actress.
Seeing this, Madhuri’s fan, author, and social activist Mithun Vijay Kumar has sent Netflix a legal notice.
The notice has demanded that the show’s derogatory scenes involving Madhuri be removed because the words used are not only unacceptable and disrespectful, but they can also be found causing confusion against female characters.
If Netflix does not remove the episode from its platform, legal action will be taken, according to the notice.

It should be noted that during a scene in the first episode, Sheldon Cooper’s character compares Aishwarya Rai to Madhuri Dixit and says, ‘Aishwarya Rai is the poor version of Madhavi Dixit.’
In response, a character named Raj koothrappali says, ‘Aishwarya Rai is a goddess while Madhuri Dixit…
