With the unexpected arrival of Ramadan in Pakistan this year, Lollywood singer and actor Ali Zafar wins hearts with his rendition of the famous Naat “Fasilon Ko Takalluf” to commemorate the holy and auspicious month.
Every Ramadan, the Jhoom singer releases a new song. Zafar previously released Balaghal-ula Bi-Kamaalihi in 2021 and Maula in 2022. Continuing in the same vein, the Sajaniya crooner has released another devotional rendition.
Ali took to Instagram and posted the video with the caption, “Assalamu Alaikum, friends ( May peace be upon you ). The holy month of fasting and cleansing our mind, body and soul is here. The opportunity to connect and reconnect on a deeper level with our creator is here.

It’s not the first time a Pakistani artist has done a cover of the Kalam. Shuja Haider, a revered producer and singer, also performed “Fasilon Ko Takalluf” in 2021. The Kalam is considered a cultural staple in Pakistan, with millions of people supporting it.
