She was born as Fiza Hussain to Zarar Hussain Shah and attended a religious school. She is a Master of Philosophy student in Comparative Religion at the University of Peshawar. Hareem confirmed her marriage to Pakistan People’s Party leader on June 28, 2021, but kept details about her husband private.
Controversies
After Hareem Shah’s video from within the Foreign Office incited controversy in October 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan commissioned an inquiry into Shah’s filming privileges. She encountered criticism for her comments after video footage of her chat with federal minister Sheikh Rasheed was leaked. In December 2019, she experienced harassment at a mall inauguration ceremony in Dubai.
In January 2021, Hareem Shah slapped Mufti Qavi over a ‘dirty’, and ‘vulgar’ conversation and claimed that Mufti Qavi physically harassed her and her cousin. In March 2021, Hareem Shah filed an FIR against a friend for an attempt to murder and physical assault.
In July 2021, there is a proliferation of videos on the internet showing Hareem Shah smoking sheesha going viral on social media.
In January 2022, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) launched a money laundering probe against TikTok star Hareem Shah after she claimed that she had traveled from Pakistan to the United Kingdom with a significant amount of cash.
