How to make money using ChatGPT in 2023: 7 tips

Just four months have passed since OpenAI, a company that develops artificial intelligence, released ChatGPT, which, without overstating its significance, altered the course of history. What is ChatGPT-4?

The text-based artificial intelligence model by OpenAI called ChatGPT has quickly become extremely well-liked. In just 5 days following the launch, it had 1 million users. With the aid of multiple resources, the model has been trained to respond to almost any kind of query.

In the last few weeks, users across the world have been asking all sorts of questions to ChatGPT and posting the answers on social media.

How to make money using ChatGPT in 2023

The AI model came up with 7 ways of making money in 2023 using ChatGPT:

1. Developing chatbot applications using the ChatGPT model and selling or licensing those applications to businesses or individuals. These chatbots could be used for customer service, virtual assistance, or other tasks.

2. Offering consulting or development services to help others integrate the ChatGPT model into their own projects or products.

3. Creating and selling training data to improve the performance of the ChatGPT model on specific tasks or industries.

4. Using ChatGPT to generate unique and engaging content for social media, blogs, or websites, and monetizing that content through advertising or sponsored posts.

5. Using ChatGPT to develop automated trading or investment strategies and monetizing through trading or consulting.

6. Creating a subscription-based service where users pay to access a chatbot developed with ChatGPT for customer service, virtual assistance, or other tasks.

7. Offering a language model-as-a-service (LMaaS) where businesses pay to use your ChatGPT model for specific tasks such as language translation, text summarization, and more.

Investment necessary to make money

The AI model also pointed out that making money with ChatGPT would require an investment in time, resources, and expertise.

“It’s important to note that making money with ChatGPT would require a significant investment in time, resources, and expertise. Additionally, any commercial use of GPT-3 would require paid API access from OpenAI. Please note that these are just possibilities and opportunities may change over time,” it said.

On the other hand, as part of its broader partnership with Microsoft, General Motors is looking into using ChatGPT in vehicles, a company executive told Reuters.

According to GM Vice President Scott Miller, “ChatGPT is going to be in everything” in a recent interview.

According to Miller, the chatbot could be used to programme features like a garage door code or integrate schedules from a calendar, as well as access information on how to use vehicle features typically found in an owner’s manual.

“This shift is not just about one single capability like the evolution of voice commands, but instead means that customers can expect their future vehicles to be far more capable and fresh overall when it comes to emerging technologies,” a GM spokesperson said on Friday.

The news was first reported by the website Semafor, which said that the American automaker was working on a virtual personal assistant that uses AI models behind ChatGPT.

Microsoft stated earlier this year that it intended to incorporate the chatbot’s technology into all of its products as part of a multi-billion dollar investment in OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT.

Like other major tech companies, Microsoft has been stepping up its efforts to integrate more technology into automobiles, including infotainment systems, automated driving, operating systems that regulate battery performance, and numerous other features.
