His most recent pre-recorded video was released on White Day, a romantic holiday. He began by teasing his fans and asking if they had been crying because of his absence. The video was shot in his room in Argentina, where he debuted his solo song The Astronaut at a concert by the American band Coldplay.

He went on to say that because his The Astronaut concert performance will be over by the time the video is released, he wants his fans to go back and watch it again.

Fans immediately complied and started streaming the performance, mentioning in the comments how they were there after seeing his message.

Kim Seok-jin, also known professionally as Jin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and member of the South Korean boy band BTS. Kim has co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: “Awake” in 2016, “Epiphany” in 2018, and “Moon” in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.
