According to the news sources, a cheetah injured a man on Thursday after it entered a house that was under construction in Phase II of Islamabad’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
After the event, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Rural Zukhruf Fida Malik gave directions to the locals, telling them to stay inside because a cheetah had been seen in the DHA’s residential sector.
He stated that teams from the IT administration and the wildlife department were looking for the animal.
The AC added that parks and other public spaces would stay closed unless the beast could be found.
