Twitter to charge $1000 for gold verification from businesses. The social media giant Twitter proposes to charge businesses $1,000 per month for gold verification badges as it searches for ways to boost its revenues.

According to a tweet from social media consultant and market analyst Matt Nawarra, Twitter also intends to charge an additional $50 a month for any additional badges that are added to each account linked to the specific business.

 

Businesses can distinguish themselves from other accounts by using gold verification badges to validate their social media accounts’ identities that’s why Twitter to charge $1000 for gold verification from businesses. The corporation adds badges showcasing scaled-down replicas of its Twitter profile pictures to the accounts of everyone affiliated with it as part of the verification process.

The goal of these actions is to monetize the platform and boost falling revenues. Twitter has not yet made an official announcement regarding the charges for the Gold verification.
