As many as seven people died in Tando Jam town on Tuesday after allegedly consuming tainted homemade liquor.
DIGP Hyderabad taking notice of the deaths, constituted a team to inquire into the incident, which claimed the lives of seven persons
Reports said that as many as seven people belonging to different localities of the town died after they consumed the tainted liquor.
Aamir Rajput, Hamid Qaimkhani, Arif Rajput, Irfan, Kewal, Moolchand and Juman Solangi were among those who died under mysterious circumstances.
The SSP Hyderabad Sajid Amir Suddozai confirmed the deaths of seven persons under very mysterious circumstances. He said it would be too early to say that all died after consuming the liquor. He informed me that different police teams were busy finding the cause. The credible sources told that relatives of the victims were not ready to reveal the actual cause of the deaths since the majority of the victims belonged to Muslim communities.
Some policemen were placed under suspension by SSP Hyderabad after the high-ups of the Sindh government, including provincial Excise and Taxation Minister Mukesh Chawla, took robust notice of the death of seven people and ordered the officials to probe the actual causes behind the ends of the seven citizens.
