Only male candidate ‘faints’ after seeing 500 girls in exam hall. A Class 12 boy in Bihar’s Nalanda district fainted during the exam on Wednesday after realising he was the only male among 500 female candidates, according to his family.
Manish Shankar Prasad, a 17-year-old student, was recognized as the one who took the math test at Brilliant Convent School Sundargarh. According to his family, he was the sole male student at the centre.
“There were more than 500 girls students in the examination center. The school administration has given the seat to my nephew in the main hall of the school surrounded by a large number of girls. Manish failed to handle the situation after saw a large number of girls and fell unconscious,” his aunt said.
Wednesday marked the beginning of the intermediate (class 12 board) test in Bihar, and reports of cheating have been made in a number of districts, including Nalanda, neighbouring Nawada, Munger, Banka, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Araria, and others. In this context, videos became viral at various examination centres.
