RCMS introduced to reduce number of pending court cases  

Revenue cases will be decided in time through Revenue Court Management System providing ease to commoners, says commissioner.

The Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) was established at the commissioner office. The appeal of revenue case would be filed through an online system besides video link remote hearing, and the applicants/advocates would not have to go to BOR Lahore.

Divisional Commissioner Zahid Hussain visited the online desk of RCMS and observed the process of submitting online files. Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad, Additional Commissioner Revenue Tariq Niazi, ADCR Fazal e Rabi Cheema, Senior Advocate Ch. Abdul Islam, Javed Bajwa, Deta Entry Operator Aehalmand Naeem Saleem and other advocates were also present occasion.

Talking to the media, the divisional commissioner said that under the public reforms program of the Punjab government, the applications would be filed at the divisional level and the applicant could be contacted from cell via Phone no.0419201723.

He cleared that justice was served to commoners at their doorsteps and a big computer screen would be provided in the cell on the recommendation of advocates. He informed that the revenue cases would be decided in time through the system, and due to the initiatives of BOR Punjab under the leadership of SMBR, the pending claim has been reduced up to 46 percent. He retreated his commitment and said that the services were being provided to the masses, and in this regard, divisional and district administration was active. DEO informed about applying and noted that a copy of the decision would be provided to the applicant on the spot after the hearing. Advocates appreciated establishing the Revenue Court Management System and said that this cell would be provided with an extensive facility to the applicants they would be relieved. He thanked the divisional commissioner for implementing this system quickly.
