UAE president’s visit to Pakistan postponed. Weather-related issues forced the postponement of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Monday’s day-long visit to Pakistan, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

According to sources, the UAE president’s visit to Pakistan was postponed as the UAE president was waiting to take off but was unable to travel to Islamabad because of the severe weather in Bahawalpur.
According to reports, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also spoke with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and apologised for the visit’s postponement while assuring Sharif that he will visit Islamabad shortly for two days.
Following the statement, the IG of Islamabad and the Security Division dismissed the security guards and allowed traffic on all of the city’s roads.
A 21-gun salute will be fired in the UAE president’s honour at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Nur Khan Air Base, according to reports from earlier in the day.
The guest was anticipated to be welcomed at the air base by Prime Minister Shehbaz and significant federal cabinet officials.
It was also said that upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan would be given a guard of honour by the country’s armed forces.
In addition, a private meeting between the president of the UAE and the prime minister was anticipated.
Just a week after his private visit to Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan was due to pay a visit.
He was greeted by PM Shehbaz at the Rahim Yar Khan Airport, and the two leaders also met.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to advancing their bilateral relations throughout the meeting. PM Shehbaz said that both countries would work on the understanding reached between the two leaders during his recent visit to the UAE.
