Nanbais plan to raise naan price to Rs 35

The nanbais in Lahore has summoned a meeting to raise the price of roti and naan in the provincial capital, citing a hike in flour prices. Nanbais plan to raise naan price to Rs 35.

According to the details, a meeting of Naan Roti Association has been summoned today to raise the price of roti and naan by Rs11.

The meeting has been summoned by the association after the Lahore district administration denied increasing the naan and roti prices by Rs11. As per Tandoor owners, the price of 15-kg flour bag has reached Rs1,900 while the 80-kg bag of fine maida is being sold at Rs10,800.

Prices of naan and roti have been jacked up in Islamabad, citing an increase in the flour rates, ARY News reported on Sunday.

As per details, the prices of naan, and roti of different types have been increased by Rs2 to 10. The tandoori roti price has been fixed at Rs20 against the earlier of Rs18.

With the increase of Rs5, the tandoori naan’s new price has been fixed at Rs25 in the federal capital, while tandoori kulcha is to be sold at Rs30 against the earlier price of Rs25. Nanbais plan to raise naan price.

The rate list further stated that the price of roghani naan has been increased by Rs10 and its new price will be Rs50.
