This mango breed is named after ‘Bara Mashi’ because its plant or tree bears fruit all year round
A new breed of Mango was now available even in winters. A new variety of juicy mango, Bara Mashi, was introduced in Lodhran. Mango was characterised as a summer fruit, as the growth would be better in the higher temperature. But the people of Lodhran would now be able to eat mango, the king of fruits, even in winter. Bara Mashi, a new variety of this juicy fruit, surprised mango enthusiasts.
Syed Jaffar Gilani, the fruit farm owner, says that this mango was named after Bara Mashi because its plant or tree bears fruit all year round. That is why it was called Bara Mashi.
Mango fruit was now available even in winter for mango enthusiasts in Lodhran. Jafar Gilani, a progressive gardener from Lodhran, had been surprised by planting an unseasonal variety of mango. Jaffar Gilani’s mango Farm was located in Mouza Noor Shah Gilani consisted of 45 acres in which there were different types of mango trees, which bore fruit in the mango season. But the unique thing about this mango farm was that even in December, January, the mango trees were full of fruit.
Its bore riped in September, and its fruit riped in December-January. Bara Mashi mangoes were green in colour but very sweet on the inside.
The taste and aroma of Bara Mashi Mango were also heartwarming. Mango enthusiasts would now enjoy mangoes all year round.
If this variety of Bara Mashi Mango was promoted, this Mango would be soon available all over Pakistan.
