As severe rainfall lashed Balochistan coastal areas, Pakistan Army forces assisted the civil administration in rescue and relief activities, including dewatering of various areas, according to a statement released by the ISPR on Tuesday.
Heavy rain triggered flooding in low-lying regions of Gwadar and Turbat, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Stagnant water accumulated, causing severe challenges for the local inhabitants as well as visitors to these regions,” it continued.
According to the ISPR, army personnel relocated trapped individuals to safer areas and gave food and shelter to residents of the Coastal Highway, Pasni, Surbandar, Nigore, and Jiwani.
