ISLAMABAD: According to a scrutiny report provided to the Election Commission of Pakistan in the party’s funding matter, the PTI declared 1.3322 billion worth in five years of accounting from 2008 to 2013.
According to the audit report, “the party has revealed only 12 accounts out of a total of 77,” while 53 bank accounts and Rs 310 million in money were hidden.
“Two PTI bank accounts were not revealed in 2008 and 2009,” the audit stated. The scrutiny report stated, “The Party also did not allow access to its New Zealand and Canada accounts.”
“In its report, the State Bank also disclosed about the undisclosed cash,” the scrutiny committee added.
The investigation stated, “The cash receipts do not match the bank accounts.” According to the investigation, “the party expenses from 2009 to 2013 did not match the income.”
“The audit report does not include a date, which is in violation of accounting regulations,” the report stated.
In the scrutiny committee’s report, the details of the PTI accounts from the State Bank are also included.
The report also includes details of dollar-operated accounts in Pakistan, according to sources.
According to sources, allusions to Indian, French, and Australian laws were included in the report.
The report includes the specifics of the PTI accounts audit from 2008 to 2013.
With the report presented to the ECP, the scrutiny committee has included their analysis of the bank accounts.
