The boat made by the students reached Britain after traveling 9300 km from Rhode Island

An experimental boat built by an American school student was launched in March this year and has now traveled 9,300 km from Rhode Island, USA to the British coast. This is a small boat that was built by students of three American schools. The children built the boat under the supervision of experts from the Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography with the aim of introducing children to the ocean and its environment. The boat was made waterproof by installing a special GPS system.

On March 26, the boat named ‘Inspiration’ was launched into the sea, which traveled the sea for a total of 245 days and one hour. Christchurch was then sighted off the coast of Friars Cliff, UK and thus ended her long experimental journey. However, there was also a lot of information inside the boat, including details of all the schools and the children who built it with their adults. The boat was abandoned in the water 100 miles off Rhode Island, making a long journey of ten months.
